Remote Professionals

Hire the right Remote Professional. Choose the support you need.

EO Staff defines the role, recruits qualified candidates, and evaluates them against the work they will actually perform.

Choose Placement when your organization is ready to employ, onboard, and manage the person. Choose Managed Remote Workforce when you also need employment administration, structured onboarding, accountability, and ongoing workforce support.

Custom recruiting. Validated finalists. One-time Placement or ongoing Managed support.

Two Ways to Work With EO Staff

The same disciplined search. A different level of support after selection.

Both programs begin the same way: EO Staff helps define the role, conducts a custom search, evaluates candidates, and presents a focused group of finalists.

The difference is what your organization needs after choosing the person.

Our most supported option

Managed Remote Workforce

Managed Remote Workforce is for organizations that need capable remote talent and a stronger operating structure around the role.

EO Staff provides:

  • Role definition and custom recruiting
  • Structured candidate evaluation
  • Employment and payroll administration
  • Onboarding structure
  • Role scorecards and reporting
  • Accountability and performance support
  • Ongoing replacement protection

Your organization provides the business knowledge: systems training, daily priorities, functional direction, feedback, and approvals.

Best when: You want to build remote capacity without independently creating the employment, onboarding, reporting, and workforce-support systems required to sustain it.

Remote Professional Placement

Placement is for organizations that already have the structure to support a Remote Professional after the hire.

EO Staff provides:

  • Role definition and custom recruiting
  • Structured candidate evaluation
  • A focused group of validated finalists
  • Interview coordination
  • Selection and transition support
  • An initial replacement guarantee

Your organization handles employment or payroll, onboarding, training, daily management, performance oversight, and the ongoing working relationship.

Best when: You already have an approved provider, a capable internal manager, and a clear process for onboarding and supporting the person.

What Could a Remote Professional Own?

Start with the work, not a generic job title.

The strongest remote roles are built around responsibilities that are clear, recurring, and measurable.

Customer and revenue support

  • Responding to new leads
  • Following up on estimates and proposals
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Maintaining CRM records
  • Reactivating past customers
  • Requesting reviews and referrals

Customer experience

  • Answering calls and messages
  • Providing routine customer updates
  • Coordinating recurring services
  • Rescheduling appointments
  • Documenting customer communication
  • Supporting post-service follow-up

Administrative and back-office operations

  • Managing calendars and inboxes
  • Updating records and documentation
  • Coordinating recurring workflows
  • Preparing routine reports
  • Supporting invoice and payment follow-up
  • Tracking open tasks and required actions

A Remote Professional should not become the destination for every unfinished task in the business. The role needs a defined purpose, clear ownership, and a manager who can provide direction.

EO Staff helps establish that role before recruiting begins.

Tell Us What Work Needs an Owner
Selected on Evidence, Not Résumé Presentation

Meet candidates who have demonstrated why they should advance.

EO Staff does not send a stack of résumés or give your team another candidate database to search.

We recruit specifically for the role and evaluate candidates against its actual requirements.

1. Define the role

We establish the responsibilities, required skills, working hours, systems, communication expectations, and measures of success.

2. Conduct a custom search

Our recruiting team sources candidates based on your requirements. We do not simply send the next available person.

3. Evaluate the candidates

Candidates complete a structured, role-specific evaluation.

Depending on the position, this may include:

  • Written or recorded responses
  • Communication assessment
  • Practical exercises or work samples
  • Schedule and availability confirmation
  • Technology and working-environment verification

4. Present the finalists

You receive a small group of candidates supported by evidence showing why each person was selected to advance.

5. Interview and select

Your team interviews the finalists and makes the final selection.

EO Staff narrows the field before candidates reach your calendar, so your team can spend less time searching and more time choosing.

What Happens After Selection?

Your team directs the work. The service model determines who supports the role.

Under both models, your organization:

  • Provides business-specific training
  • Assigns work and establishes priorities
  • Grants access to required systems
  • Supplies feedback and approvals
  • Makes strategic and functional decisions
  • Identifies an internal manager for the role

The Remote Professional is responsible for completing the agreed work, following established processes, maintaining required systems, communicating progress, and escalating questions appropriately.

With Placement

The selected Remote Professional transitions to your payroll or employment provider and internal onboarding process.

EO Staff’s work concludes after the transition, subject to the initial replacement guarantee. Your organization owns the ongoing working relationship.

With Managed Remote Workforce

EO Staff continues supporting the employment administration, onboarding structure, reporting, accountability, performance conversations, and workforce continuity surrounding the role.

Your internal manager still assigns the work and evaluates the business results. Managed provides additional structure and visibility; it does not replace client leadership.

For Franchise Networks

Create a consistent path to remote capacity across participating locations.

Individual franchisees may need customer-service, revenue-support, or administrative capacity without having the systems to recruit and support international talent independently.

EO Staff can work with the home office to define approved roles, responsibilities, candidate requirements, onboarding expectations, and reporting standards.

The home office establishes the network framework. EO Staff recruits and supports the Remote Professionals. Each participating location provides business-specific training and directs the daily work.

Franchise locations participate through Managed Remote Workforce. One-time Placement is not offered as a location-level franchise service.

Common Questions

Who chooses the Remote Professional?

Your organization does. EO Staff defines the search, evaluates the candidates, and presents finalists. Your team conducts the final interviews and makes the selection.

Does EO Staff direct the person’s daily work?

No. Your organization assigns work, establishes priorities, provides business-specific training, and approves decisions under both models.

Managed Remote Workforce adds onboarding, reporting, accountability, and performance support, but it does not replace the internal manager.

Who handles employment and payroll?

With Placement, your organization engages the selected Remote Professional through its chosen payroll or employment provider.

With Managed Remote Workforce, EO Staff facilitates the employment and payroll administration included in the service.

What if we do not have a payroll provider or remote onboarding process?

Managed Remote Workforce will generally be the appropriate option because it includes the additional structure your organization does not already have.

What happens if the Remote Professional leaves?

Placement includes an initial replacement guarantee. Managed includes replacement protection while the service remains active. Applicable terms are explained before engagement.

Can EO Staff also help with our local hiring?

Yes. Hiring Intelligence helps franchise networks and high-volume employers apply a consistent, structured first-round interview to applicants for recurring local roles.
